Meet the 2025 class of Pitt Law’s Global Legal Scholars Program — our small and highly selective international law honors cohort.

This year’s Scholars bring exceptional academic backgrounds, international experience, and diverse professional interests to Pitt Law’s global community.

Alexandra (2L)
With a foundation in International Relations, Political Science, and French, Alexandra has studied abroad at the University of Warwick and plans to pursue an LLM in France. Her academic and linguistic strengths position her for a truly global legal career.

Amy (2L)
Amy studied English literature and philosophy at Slippery Rock University and spent time abroad in Canterbury. Focused on corporate and international law, she will join Reed Smith next summer as a Summer Associate.

Gianna (2L)
A Duquesne graduate in Marketing and Management, Gianna has gained experience at Glenmede and a legal tech startup exploring the role of AI in the legal field. She intends to study abroad and further investigate how emerging technologies shape international law practice.

Neil (2L)
Neil brings degrees in Marketing, Information Systems, and Computer Science, along with professional experience in data consulting. He recently clerked for Judge Beth A. Lazzara and attended an International Arbitration conference at Durham University, where he deepened his interest in cross-border dispute resolution.
