Sorbonne Exchange Program

Sorbonne Exchange Program

Pitt Law’s exchange arrangement with Paris I enables selected Pitt Law JD students to spend one year studying at France’s leading law school, earning a French LLM degree while also applying their coursework toward their Pitt Law credit hour requirements.

The Paris I LLM is taught entirely in French. General information about the Paris I LLM is provided here.

Interested students should contact Professor Chuck Kotuby, CILE Executive Director, for more information.

Pitt Law students who participate in the exchange pay tuition and fees to Pitt at the normal full-time rates (in-state or out-of-state, as applicable) and are not charged any separate tuition by Paris I. Students are responsible for all additional costs associated with participation, including travel, housing, meals, books, and supplies. Participating students may remain eligible for financial aid during their exchange year; however, they should contact Meme Jeffries to confirm their eligibility.
